I started my musical journey at young age. My family were all musicians. I like to think I started the violin because I loved the sound of it, but in reality it was due to a bit of healthy competition with my older brother. This ‘healthy’ competition turned into a love of playing music together with people. It also made me realise that music is not just about playing the instrument but about the support in the community of musicians. My brother constantly encouraged me and would always be there at concerts. He ended up being a comfort blanket in my journey. This is what music is to me. Community, Love and Expression.
